REGISTRATION

Confirmation of Registration will be on December 15, Sunday, at the UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN PHILIPPINES (UNP). Registration will start promptly at 1:00PM and end at 4:00PM.

NOTE: A MAXIMUM OF FIVE (5) CHANGES PER SCHOOL ARE ALLOWED DURING REGISTRATION. Excess of 5 will be charged P100.00 per student, per change.

Appearance check will be done during registration. Registration for guests will also be available. Sponsors, coaches, and conductors are ALSO required to undergo REGISTRATION and APPEARANCE CHECK. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from functioning as such.

Entries for ARTS, NEEDLE & THREAD, PHOTOGRAPHY and ACADEMIC EXHIBITS will be accepted starting December 16, Monday, from 8:00AM-4:00PM at the UNP Auditorium Ground Floor. Non-submission within the time allotted means nonparticipation. JUDGE’S FORMS ARE NOT NEEDED IN ARTS AND PHOTOGRAPHY. AN EXHIBIT AFFIDAVIT IS REQUIRED IN ALL CATEGORIES.

DEFAULT POLICY

A DEFAULT POLICY will again be implemented during this year’s convention. A contestant who is late by more than 15 minutes for a scheduled performance, unless properly communicated with the room coordinator, will be DISQUALIFIED from the competition.

SPORTS

A player can only join in one of these events: Basketball, Volleyball and Tchoukball. For example, if a player is already a part of Tchoukball, he will not be permitted anymore to join Basketball or volleyball team and vice versa.

NUMBER OF EVENTS

Only one entry per school, per event is allowed.

Piano Duet
Only one (1) piano will be used for the Duet Piano event.

PHOTOGRAPHY WAIVER

To authorize SOT®Philippines to use photos or videos, each delegate and their parents must read and sign the photograph release/waiver form. Once signed, student and parents give SOT®P the right to use photos or videos for promotional materials regarding SOT®P. Materials bearing these images may be distributed for free to the public and may be posted on the SOT®P website.

Attached is a copy of the waiver/permission form. School administrators must provide copies to each delegate. Forms must be submitted along with the rest of the registration documents needed by NOVEMBER 8, 2019.

ORIENTATION

Orientation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019, 3:00PM at the UNP COVERED GYM. ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED for all registered staff, sponsors, and coaches

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES

ALL SCHOOLS ARE REQUIRED TO SEND TWO (2) STUDENTS WHO ARE ACTIVE AND WILLING TO PERFORM (preferably 1 male and 1 female) TO PRACTICE at 3:00PM, December 15, 2019, Sunday, at the UNP COVERED GYM. Please bring school flag or banner to the practice. (See banner specifications listed below.)

RALLY NIGHT ATTENDANCE and AWARDS CEREMONY

Sponsors and students must attend ALL Rallies. ALL students must sit with their own sponsors during the rally. Any student leaving the rally or awards ceremony must be accompanied by a sponsor. Sponsors are expected to PROHIBIT students from standing up and leaving the area especially during preaching time.

In respect for each winner, plan to attend the entire Convention. NO MEDALS WILL BE GIVEN TO ABSENT CONTESTANTS. MEDALS WILL NOT BE MAILED. Banners are not allowed on stage. Plan for pictures in the designated area.

GUESTS

Guests are welcome at events & rallies, BUT MUST abide by the dress code and appearance standard of the Convention. Tickets are available at the gate for Php100.00 per day. School administrators/principals are responsible for informing their guests about the Appearance Standard and Dress Code of the Convention. To avoid embarrassment, please abide by the dress code.

REQUIREMENTS


I. WHO MAY JOIN?

a. 1st to 6th place winners of any event in the recent National Student Convention. (EXCEPT GOLDEN APPLE, LAMB, HARP, CHRISTIAN WORKERS & SOLDIERS, OVER 100 PACES AWARD, BIBLE STORYTELLING, TCHOUKBALL & CREATIVE WRITINGS FILIPINO)

b. Registered Coaches and Trainers who attended the recent National Student Convention.

Note: IF YOU INTEND TO JOIN THE ISC, PLEASE SECURE YOUR PASSPORT NOW TO AVOID DELAYS.

II. DEADLINES:

Submit the following requirements ON OR BEFORE MARCH 11, 2019:

1. Letter of the Pastor or Administrator indicating that he or she has read the requirements/agreement and fully agrees. Please include the complete list of all delegates. (Please see below for the official letter)

2. Individual letter of the parent/guardian indicating that he or she has read the requirements/agreement and fully agrees. (Please see below for the official letter)

3. Clear photocopy of Passport (only the page with personal information).

4. Clear photocopy of Visa Application Fee Receipt

5. Photocopy of properly filled out DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application Form. (The entire form including information sheet) On-line register through http://ceac.state.gov

6. Visa Processing Fee of ₱2,000.00 (Metro Manila Schools) or ₱2,500.00 (Provincial Schools) per applicant. Pay directly at School of Tomorrow Office or deposit at Metrobank Savings Account # 0813-0815-1393-8. Send proof of payment to fax # (02) 822963 local 159 or send it via email to schoolserve@schooloftomorrow.ph

7. A Bond of $300.00 is required from each delegate. If paying in peso current exchange rate is applied. Pay directly at SOT Office or deposit to Metrobank Saving Account # 0813-0815-1393-8 or BDO Dollar Account #431-0038-541

NOTE: AFTER THE SAID DEADLINE, ADDITIONAL DELEGATES WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED.


• Submit Itinerary on or before April 5, 2019. Late submissions will not be included in the Group Rate.

• We will only consider quotations from other travel agencies on or before February 22, 2019. NO EXTENSION. Send offers to schoolserve@schooloftomorrow.ph

• Information on where the School of Tomorrow, Philippines can reach the delegates while in the United States.

III. AGREEMENTS

a. Parents will not be included in the official invitation list.

b. If delegates do not return to the Philippines from ISC by JULY 2019 their sending school will be banned from attending the International Student Convention for Three (3) consecutive years.

c. Delegates must obtain ticket ONLY through School of Tomorrow, Philippines Travel Agency.

d. Payment for the tickets must be made directly to the Travel Agency. A down payment of $1000 on or before APRIL 19, 2019 is REQUIRED for us to be able to secure a discounted group rate and booking. In case of visa denial, full refund of the ticket advance payment will be given.

e. Payments for the following must be made directly to SOT Office:

* Bus fare
* Tours

f. Everybody will leave at the same time on the same plane. NO EXCEPTION.

g. Non-compliance of the said agreements will mean forfeiture of the $300.00 bond. NO EXCEPTION.
• The Bond will only be returned on two conditions.
• If your Visa Application is denied.
• Upon your return to the Philippines from ISC by JULY 2019 as agreed.

h. The full amount of BOND, is due even to those who are given a US Visa but decide not to attend the ISC.

i. Delegates who change their mind about attending ISC after processing papers will FORFIET the BOND.

DEFAULT POLICY

A DEFAULT POLICY will again be implemented during this year’s convention. A contestant who is late by more than 15 minutes for a scheduled performance, unless properly communicated with the room coordinator, will be DISQUALIFIED from the competition.

SPORTS

A player can only join in one of these events: Basketball, Volleyball and Tchoukball. For example, if a player is already a part of Tchoukball, he will not be permitted anymore to join Basketball or volleyball team and vice versa.

NUMBER OF EVENTS

Only one entry per school, per event is allowed.

PHOTOGRAPHY WAIVER

To authorize SOT®Philippines to use photos or videos, each delegate and their parents must read and sign the photograph release/waiver form. Once signed, student and parents give SOT®P the right to use photos or videos for promotional materials regarding SOT®P. Materials bearing these images may be distributed for free to the public and may be posted on the SOT®P website.

Attached is a copy of the waiver/permission form. School administrators must provide copies to each delegate. Forms must be submitted along with the rest of the registration documents needed by OCTOBER 4, 2019..

ORIENTATION

Orientation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, at the Highlands right after the opening program. ATTENDANCE IS A MUST for all registered staff, sponsors, and coaches.

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES

ALL SCHOOLS ARE REQUIRED TO SEND TWO (2) STUDENTS WHO ARE ACTIVE AND WILLING TO PERFORM (preferably 1 male and 1 female) TO PRACTICE right after the opening program. Please bring school flag or banner to the practice. (See banner specifications listed below.)

RALLY NIGHT ATTENDANCE and AWARDS CEREMONY

Sponsors and students must attend ALL Rallies. ALL students must sit with their own sponsors during the rally. Any student leaving the rally or awards ceremony must be accompanied by a sponsor. Sponsors are expected to PROHIBIT students from standing up and leaving the area especially during preaching time.

In respect for each winner, plan to attend the entire Convention. NO MEDALS WILL BE GIVEN TO ABSENT CONTESTANTS. MEDALS WILL NOT BE MAILED. Banners are not allowed on stage. Plan for pictures in the designated area.

GUESTS

Guests are welcome at events & rallies, BUT MUST abide by the dress code and appearance standard of the Convention. Tickets are available at the gate for Php100.00 per day. School administrators/principals are responsible for informing their guests about the Appearance Standard and Dress Code of the Convention. To avoid embarrassment, please abide by the dress code.
